usecure allows us to address the human element to cyber risk

We evaluated the leading vendors in this space and found uSecure to be the best fit for our customers. In fact, we liked it so much that we’ve decided to include it in all of our vCISO packages for small businesses.

Our vCISO service gives small businesses access to the years of cyber security experience they need to make strategic and operational decisions. Hiring a dedicated, or even part-time CISO, can be very expensive but our vCISO service ensures that security gets a voice at a fraction of the cost. Our vCISO services stands apart from our competitors because of our rich experience with application security, cloud native operations and microservices. Our directors and consultants have years of experience securing traditional architectures and migrating them to their modern counterparts.

Human risk is often overlooked, but the majority of cyber attacks are still attacking the human operator by tricking them into giving away their passwords or opening dangerous files. Our new partnership with uSecure allows us to better manage and report on the human risk inside organisations, which is typically ignored or delivered with generic e-learning training modules and videos.

We evaluated the leading vendors in this space and found uSecure to be the best fit for our customers. In fact, we liked it so much that we’ve decided to include it in all of our vCISO packages for small businesses. Our larger customers will be offered it as an optional service in due course.

Most businesses focus on delivering technical controls to manage the technical risk, and we assist with that too, but we champion cyber security awareness training because it has a significant impact to users both at work and at home. Staff who understand the importance of using a strong password and multifactor, and who can recognise a good email from a bad one, will be much less likely to become a victim whatever they are doing online. Not only is this an amazing value add for employees, it also helps raise staff engagement and reduces the likelihood they will try to work around other controls.

the uSecure product suite

uSecure provides a number of distinct services, all of which work great together.

uLearn

The uLearn product delivers interactive, relevant e-learning modules to employees in the areas they need. By evaluating the strengths and weaknesses using customisable gap analysis quizzes, uLearn is able to improve engagement by only delivering training on the area that each individual needs. These quizzes also feed management reports, showing clear progression against key risk areas.

uPhish

uPhish builds upon the foundation of cyber awareness training delivered by uLearn and allows an organisation to periodically test its staff with real-world (but absolutely safe!) email attacks. Testing users in a controlled way helps build muscle memory and ensures staff know what to look for and how best to react. uPhish also feeds directly into the uLearn platform, meaning staff who fall for these common phishing tactics can receive the extra training they need.

uPolicy

uPolicy allows organisations to manage their corporate policies in a simple online platform, with on-demand management reporting. It is still typical to find corporate policies stored in sharepoint or in a corporate shared folder, with user acceptance tracked in spreadsheets or not at all. By bringing those policies into uPolicy, or using the sample policies provided, organisations can announce new policy amendments to their employees and track acceptance digitally.

uBreach

uBreach monitors the dark web for signs that hackers have breached your users or networks, giving organisations the opportunity to react before that information is sold on and the information is used to the business or its customers.
